Work From Home

Offices have become a place not so used since the pandemic. People got used to working from home during the pandemic that lasted almost 2 years. Also, most people didn’t know that working from home was even possible. So, rightfully, people are asking if they can still work from home since it’s more convenient for most people. So, if we are going over the pros and cons of working from home:

Some of the pros would be; it being more convenient for most people, especially parents. Also, there are people who live far away or have to leave their family to go to work. Another pro would be that it would probably help with saving money. With the gas prices raised and plane tickets being very expensive it would help a lot. One more pro is most people work more productively when they are more comfortable, meaning not in suits and dresses and heels every day in uncomfortable chairs, or when they aren’t stressed about being on time to work etc.

Examples for cons would look like; looking from the boss’s perspective it would be harder to control everyone and or establish dominance in the workplace. So, the employees would probably lose focus quicker and get little to any work done. Also, in an actual meeting room, you would be able to see everyone faces and what everyone is doing, which you wouldn’t be able to do in a zoom meeting.

So, to conclude, there are very equally strong pros and cons therefore the solution would be to allow work from home, but only in extreme situations.
