A long time ago Winston Churchill says “The inherent vice of capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings. The inherent virtue of Socialism is the equal sharing of miseries.”. Though he is right on some points, I think the thought has a wrong point of view. First of all, capitalism is the biggest reason for poverty because it causes classification in society. This means that governance class people earn lots of money without working too much but working-class people earn lower money with spending much more time in work. Day after day as rich people increases their wealth, poor people get poorer and the gap in the society increases. In socialism, there is a fixed time period for working and everyone earns same amount of money. So, in society everyone is equal but also poor. This means people have same opportunities for living but not in a heathy way. The point is that though all people get poorer in socialism this doesn’t means that it is worse than capitalism. Both are reasons for people to be in poor conditions.
WHY WAS CHURCHILL WRONG?
