Where’s Sarah?

It was only a few minutes before new year. We were all gathered with my whole family. The atmosphere in the living room was so sweet. But someone was missing. My sister Sarah. We’ve called her many times but she didn’t answer. So we thought she stayed at school for studying. She was a sophomore in high school, she cared about her lessons but not this much so it was a little weird. But at that time we didn’t cared that much, cause everybody was celebrating. Then it was time for the final 60 seconds. Everyone was shouting the numbers but suddenly I heard the doorbell ring. I went to the door and opened it but then an officer appeared in front of the door.  I said “Happy new year officer, how can I help you?” to the officer. But he didn’t even smile a little. He said “Where and how do you know Sarah Wineski?”. I was startled and ” I’m her big sister” I replied. “You need to come with us to the station. Your sister has been lastly seen in a bank robbery.” he said which froze me to the bone while everyone was screaming and and celebrating the first seconds of the year. I was devastated by the things I heard about my sister.

I quickly explained what was going on to my family and everyone came with me to the station. We all were so worried about Sarah but, I thought of the actions of Sarah in the past week. She acted frightened everywhere, especially a notification came to her phone. So when they took me the the questioning room, I told them everything about that made me curious.

After me they took my testify, they took the whole familys testify which lasted for hours. It was so late and and nearly everyone was sleeping and I was about to fell asleep to when the station door flew open. When looks dat the door to see who it was, I couldn’t believe my eyes. It was Sarah. “Sarah” I screamed and hugged her tight. She was so cold but she wasn’t shaking at all. The officers took her to the question room right away. Everyone was so curious about what was going on. After an hour they led Sarah out and there was no handcuffs in her wrists. We all gathered around her and asked her what happened. She said “Relax. ı’m not involved in the robbery. My best friend Ruby was in a very bad financial situation. She needed a lot of money for her college appliance so she decided to rob a bank. Well she wasn’t going to just walk in and grab some money. She would act like rich person which had a bank account there and wanted to take some money. She told me about her plans so I was there to stop her. But when I got there she was nowhere to be found.”. “But, why didn’t you come home?” I asked. “Because she deleted all the footage where she entered the bank and stole some money. I tried to find all the footage and well, I succeeded. Right now she must be transferred to prison.” she said. We were all relieved and happy justice found place.

Later on, we all went back home and did a mini celebration for the new year even though it started a bit too exciting. But we were a family, if something disturbed us, we would face it all together.
