What Effects Our Personality and Intelligence

Many people may say that we are naturally born with the type of personality we have because if you look at serial killers most of them have the so called “ the serial killer ‘ gene but if you look at people the way they behave and their intelligence level change depending on  where they live , the type of family and friends  they have or their culture i think that these are the factors that really matter when an individual’s personality is forming but it really depends on weather intelligence is defined as one’s capacity to learn something or weather it is one’s span of knowledge and information they know.

These factors are especially more important when an individual hits puberty . if you look at kids with different kind of friendship groups these groups are mostly formed with the type of personalities that these kids have for example in a friendship group where all kids study very hard and don’t really have an active social life they don’t hang out with kids hove are quite active what i am trying to say is the kind of personality you have changes when you hang around with different kind of friendship groups. It is also influenced during puberty as school and quality of education each individual is getting. same with culture and family. The type of people that are around you change the way you act . For example, when you are with a teacher do you act the same way that you act around your friend personally i don’t.

People say that if you have a smart family you are most likely to be smart. This is a hypothesis that makes it self true because the kid feels like he or she has to be perfect just like their family again this is an example of effects that our family have on our personality.

However there are some exceptions when someone has a mental disorder that affects their IQ. They won’t be able to change that because they are naturally born that way  but I really do believe this is the only exception to this. I believe we form our own personalities with the effect of the environment we are around.

In conclusion ,Brain maturity extends way beyond our teen years under most laws in most countries young people are recognised as adults at age 18 but emerging science about brain development suggests that most people don’t reach full maturity until the age 25 so even though we might form an intelligence level and a personality during puberty. our intelligence level and personality can change.
