Have you ever wondered what life would be like in the 2030s? Well, it is a hard thing to imagine, isn’t it? There are so many things to think about; is there any kind of war thread, can people keep up with the technology, how is the global warming doing, etc.
First, let’s take a look at the possible war threads. Petrol crisis, gain dominance over a wider area, money, lack of producer goods, etc. these could lead to a possible war. For example, a possible shortage in food may cause a horrible scenario. Think about it, people are wasting food for nothing that they don’t appreciate now, but that they will fight for in the future. Isn’t it awful?
The technology that we might have in the 2030s might be in a very advanced level. Actually, technology is such a magnificent thing. It gets more useful day by day. But we have to keep in mind that at some point technology can be very dangerous. Right now, our country is struggling to keep up with the developing technology. But I believe that at some point our country will catch up with the technology; who knows, maybe in the 2030s we’ll catch up.
And now let’s talk about the most important thread: Global Warming. Maybe you’ve noticed the raising weather temperatures, do you think that it is normal to feel free to take your coat off and walk with just a sweatshirt at January? Well, I don’t think so. Yet in our country, there is no snow. As the ozone layer gets thinner, some harmful rays enter the earth; also greenhouse gases have a great impact on global warming. Because of global warming, the ecosystem is getting destroyed. Some kinds of plants are dying, so do some animals. Our nutrition sources are getting destroyed day by day. Our country is getting effected by the global warming a lot. Think about the damages that global warming can give to our country in the 2030s. We may be suffering from lack of water and food. Even the thought of it gives me goosebumps.
Personally, I think that my life will differ a lot. I will be 22 by then, even the thought of me being at an age over 18 is weird. Well, I will be studying at university by then. I think some good changes are waiting for me. I hope that I won’t have any regrets by 2030s. Well, I can’t guess that much about my future, though.
