Unsolved Murder

The sky was dark as mire, me and my friend Amara went on a ghost hunting we were walking right when we came across an old, rusty house that I never saw before, even though it was in my neighborhood.                                              “Alexa there might be ghosts in here come on, let’s go inside !” She shouted. After arguing a little I finally said okay,I wasn’t sure about this one bit, two girls alone in an abandoned house wasn’t a great idea after all. But I did it anyways.

Amara opened the huge squeaky door, and the first thing I saw was a corpse with a knife in his chest, lying on the floor. In that second I immediately tried running to the door but it was locked. There was no escape! We went upstairs and split up probably a dumb idea you think and you are right, I searched one room which had old, creepy dolls looking in my soul, but then I saw two candles lit up, I tried blowing them out but as soon as I did I heard a scream coming from the room Amara was in, immediately I ran to the room and saw Amara stabbed from the back having her last breath on the floor (I didn’t like her anyways). But now I knew that I wasn’t alone.

Suddenly I heard a noise coming from the next room so I quickly ran downstairs and called my parents… but no one answered, I tried calling my friends… but no one answered as well, I was hopeless. After a few minutes an unknown number called and I picked up.

“Hello”

“Hi, my friend isn’t breathing can you please call 911” I said panicking

“Okay, can you please tell me your name ?”

“Why do you want to know my name ?”

“Because I want to know who I’m looking at”

“What” I gasped,

“I said, I want to know who I’m talking to”

“No, that’s not what you said, you said you want to know who you’re looking at” I’ve had goosebumps everywhere. I started panicking my heart was pumping faster every second. The guy hung up.

The phone rang again I picked it up this time his voice was coming from way closer as if he was in this house somewhere. Even standing right behind me!
