Touching Little Stars

There have been elements that touched each of our lives when we were little. These elements can sometimes be a person, sometimes an event, and sometimes a movie. We look forward to the movies that we are waiting for with admiration because they drag us into that life in those moments we lose our perception of reality and fiction. The child in us gives everything to be that character, actually at that moment, even her favorite toy.

When this child grows up, she continues her love of movies and her admiration for that characters. For the child who is open to being influenced by everything at that age, the movie of course touches her life. When I look back on my childhood, I’m pretty lucky to have grown up with Disney. Lorax and Up are my favorites, although I love and hold each Disney movie in my heart. To tell you, Lorax is based on instilling the love of trees and nature, while Up is on instilling the values of love, longing, and compassion. I’m sad to say right now that our society lacks both. Thanks to the regret of humanity in the movie Lorax and this movie that shows that no matter what happens, it can still be fixed with hope, at least one child spent that day happy and instilled in the continuation of his life. In my opinion, the aim of the director and screenwriter should be in this direction. Maybe that movie didn’t make the world a better place, but it did make a kid’s world a better place.

If we look at the movie Up, although the events that go through the main character at the beginning of the movie are sad, it is impressive that he maintains his attitude towards life. The possessive attitude of the child in the film shows us that it is possible to be a father without being a biological father. Although I have always said that children can be influenced, of course, adults can also be influenced, it just needs a little more touch because instilling new ideas in a full brain is harder than anything.

Although not every movie has an impact on life, and it shouldn’t because that takes time too. Actors like Aamir Khan are also people devoted to it. We should value those who do this and show them the respect they deserve. While it is very difficult to affect the life of even a person, they are trying to touch millions with a 2-hour movie. We must not let the child in us disappear, but let the hopeful star shine within her.
