Imagine a serial killer, that has killed three teenagers 35 years ago and he is back trying to kill your mom. That is exactly what happens in ‘Totally Killer’.
Jamie is a 17 year old girl living in a town that 3 murders had happened a long time ago. These three girls are a part of a friend group which actually included four girls. The murderer was not able to kill the fourth friend and he is back to kill her 35 years later. When Jamie comes face to face with this murderer, she accidentally time travels back to 1987.
With Kiernan Shipka, Olivia Holt and Julie Bowen’s amazing acting, totally killer is one of the most entertaining horror movies made in the year 2023. Even though it is scary in some ways it is still hilarious or even absurd at some times.
Even though the setting was superb, the movie did not portray the 80s good enough. They made the 80s high school kids look more like a bully than they are. They are smoking in cars, calling other kids fat, or making fun of them in any kind.
The movie was really fun to much in my opinion. I would recommend it to anyone that likes to watch thriller and comedy movies.
