Time Travelling or Stopping Time

If I were given two choices between time stop and time travel to any time period, I would choose stopping the time.

Stopping the time, gives you control over present time and you can do whatever you want to do in that time. Also, time stop can save you from dying by  making you invincible at some point. Imagine a FBI Agent who knows you can time stop, shoots towards you with his gun. If you know he is about to shoot, you can stop the time take his gun away and don’t die. But this can’t happen all the time. Only if you know something is going to happen to you, then you can time stop, meaning that if that FBI Agent was undercover and shoots when you are facing the other direction, you wouldn’t know that you are getting attacked, so time stop wıll not always  make you invincible but it can definitely  become an indirect life-saver. For example,  you have a project homework due  tomorrow, you can stop time and do the project while in real life, it won’t pass a second when you completed your project. By pausing time, you can also become a “villain”. You can rob banks or steal any car. However, we are not trying to be a bad person, so we don’t even consider such things.

On the other hand, we have the option of time travel. Time travel offers good opportunities for exploration . It allows you to witness historical events like  Turkish War of Independence or  World War II . You can also meet influental figures like Joseph Stalin or Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. Or you can visit the future, you could take a look at technological advancements or the ecosystem. Also, you could prepare for potential challenges probably like ChatGPT vs humans. Time travel might also be crucial for  the correction of past mistakes, giving a chance to rewrite personal or global history. For instance,  you can go to a time in the past when you are taking the most important exam of your life and rewrite all answers for correction. You could get in the most prestigious university of all time using this technique.

In conclusion, although they both have their challenges  and perks, I will choose to stop the time over time travel.
