If someone asks me if I rather stop time or travel to a time period I would probably say travel to a time period.
I will say that because if I travel to a time period that would be more useful and more enjoyable than stoping time. In one perspectives of stoping time are you can live in a time forever but in my opinion it would not be as good as we thought. That would be very boring because there will no one to talk or do something. You likely bored while stopping time. The life is good with the flow of time.
My answer is travel in a time period because you can go to past and change your mistakes or you can live a moment as much as you want. You can go to the future, see what will happen. For example your mom has a bad illness and no one founded the medicine of that illness. You can go to future and found the medicine than give it to your mom. You can save a lot of people while doing it not just your mom.
You can see historical scene or popular celebrities that lived in past. You can see your grand granddad too. Or a died person lived in the past. For example your dad died in a car crash. You can go before that happens and spend time with your dad or be an obstacle to car crash. You can save a lot of lives.
But there will be disadvantages too. If you do something wrong that will effect a lot in the future. For example you meet your grand dad and because of you your grand dad accidentally fell in love with someone else not your grand grand mother. You will be not exist. That will be change your hole world.
They both has advantages and disadvantages but I would rather travel in time.
