It was a normal Sunday. I woke up, did my usual routine of washing my face and making a cup of coffee and then I went to change. I wore my red tie, white shirt and trousers because it was my favorite outfit and I had an important meeting today. I was very happy to wake up early because on my way to work I saw a merchant. I was curious to see what he was selling so I parked my car on the side of the road and approached the trader, but he seemed to be afraid of me. When I went up to the merchant, he hid his bag from me and said, “What do you want from me?” When I told him I wanted to see what he was selling, he relaxed a little and opened his bag. Out came a book, a toy figure and a miniature statue. Since I don’t have much to do with statues and toy figures, I wanted to buy the book without question. The merchant must have realized that I was thinking of buying the book while I was looking at it, because he warned me. “If you buy this book, you will bear the responsibilities, just so you know.” He said. At first I didn’t mind too much, when I arrived at my workplace there were twenty minutes left before the meeting. So I opened the book and started reading it to kill time while I still had time. Three minutes before the meeting, I stopped reading the book and rushed to the meeting. The meeting went well because I had been promoted, so I called my friends and we planned to celebrate at a fancy restaurant. Naturally, I was the first one to arrive and since I was waiting for them, I didn’t waste my time and read the book I had bought today for a while. I arrived too early and the first person to arrive took a whole hour. I told him about the book I had bought because I was very interested in it. I read my book until a few more people came to the table. By the time enough people had left, I was on page 73 of the book and there was a great conversation going on. We stopped a little late that day, so it was just me and my friends in the whole restaurant. So when a few people left, I opened my book again and read for a long time. On page 120 of the book there was a handwritten phone number. I didn’t pay much attention, I was a little drunk. I went home and went to sleep, my friend had driven me home. In the morning I remembered the phone number I had seen. I went and got the phone and opened the book and it was my number. I called and someone other than me had answered my number. He was waiting for me in the restroom of the restaurant I went to yesterday. When I got there, there were strange noises coming from a restroom stall. When I approached the stall the lights went out and when they came back on the stall was empty. When I entered the stall myself, the door suddenly closed and the toilet paper said “don’t panic, stay calm.” It said. I couldn’t open the door. As I sat on the toilet wondering what to do, someone appeared in front of the door. I could only see his shoes and I tried to see who it was through the doorway and he looked at me. Then the lights went out and when they came on the man was gone and the door was open. When I tried to open the bathroom door, it still wouldn’t open. The door of the toilet stall I came out of closed and the lights went out. When the lights came on again, strange noises started coming from the toilet stall. I went in front of the stall and realised that i was trapped in a time paradox. Now i’m trapped here for eternity. I can’t escape here no matter how hard i try.
