I have just finished my new time machine. It was a long work that took years to do. And today was the first day I would use my time machine. My first trip was going to be very exciting because I had no experience with time travel. I got in the time machine. I made the final checks and stated the machine. Suddenly, I was surrounded by lights and I started shaking. I was feeling nauseous and dizzy. When everything stopped, I came to a different place.
The sun was setting. The sky was a mixture of red and orange. The air was cool and clean. Modern buildings were reaching into the sky and there were flying cars. I had arrived to the future. I was so excited so I started exploring around. Different lifestyles, different kinds of animals, advanced technology… Everything was amazing. People were friendly and helpful. In a short time, I started to feel like I belonged here.
Days turned into weeks and weeks turned into months. And I was still living in the future. Every day I was making new discoveries and learning new and interesting things. My curiosity about the time I lived in was increasing. I wanted to go back to my own time and to my family and friends. I had concerns. What would happen to the future, if I went back and changed things? But I had to make a decision. Stay here or go back? No matter what, I chose to go back and be with my family and friends. I got into the time machine again and went back to the past that I lived in. When I got off the time machine, I was back in my own time. Everything was the same as before but I was not the same anymore. I was filled with experiences and knowledge from the future. Time travel was an incredible experience that changed my life forever. I am determined to make the world a better place by using what I learned from this experience. I know I have a tough fight ahead of me but I won’t give up.
