The Sacrifice on the North Eastern Zeffo Front

The war was not over yet. The war for an entire planet’s freedom, the war for gaining rights, the war for stopping the genocide… However, the war could have been over in the North Eastern Zeffo Front.

Commander Kestis was in charge of the attack. The attack which is to stop the oppression, slavery, and torture of his people. When the Commander’s race was enslaved, the people had no power to revolt against the Omninants. What a sinful, rotten community, terrorists they were. Commander had seen himself and his people in despair which was why he certainly will not see the youth in that depressing state. A victory on this front would lead them to the Omninants’ main supplies. Destroying them would end the suffering. Even though the enemies did not expect them to discover this shortcut to the supplies, they deployed troops to guarantee their safety. This would not be an equal fight. Despite the enemies’ technology, there was no way the Omninants could overpower them because of the majority of troops Kestis had.

The watch was tickling: 57, 58, 59, 00. “Attack!” This strong, powerful shout made every ally troop act. Things were going as planned. The enemy troops were completely startled and weak. Despite this, they managed to put up a good fight, one a commander would respect. They quickly got to the supply building. Now, one last thing left: Planting some bombs and escaping the building. However, just one thing wasn’t considered. Unfortunately for them, reinforcements were on their way. Not knowing this the troops planted bombs cheerfully which took more time than planned. Kestis tried to increase their speed but he was not listened to. Once the building was surrounded it was too late.

“Surrender or die!” There was no way they were going to surrender. Troops hadn’t forgotten the suffering. Kestis knew what to do. All of them made a very brave decision, very brave that it would give the upper hand in the war to them. Since they had no way of getting out, they were going to explode with the building. Commander pressed that famous red button. As the flames from the bomb approached him he thought: “It is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen”.
