The Road

Comfort makes people go numb and dumb. A person who has been fed a good, hot plate of soup would not think of what to do in case one day they will be in the position to not have it. Comfort makes you get used to not trying or challenging yourself to do better and settle down for what you already have since if you do not seek anything other than what you already have right now you will never know where your best is.

Complex situations and circumstances are what make people push their limits or learn how to fight. It does not always how to be in terms of gaining objects, success, or food. For example, a person who never faced the true version of themselves and even masked it to themselves will not know what it means to totally accept their own creating even harder times for the individual each day they look into the mirror when they wake up.

To step out of your comfort zone you need to take risks. For instance, to launch a company you should put tons of money on the table not knowing rather it will be a gain or a loss for you. Some people are scared to lose what they have in their hands and just keep the same job where they work 8 am to 6 pm in a cubicle with no interaction and an atmosphere with regrets, burnout, and a lot more negativity that lead to one another. While there are some people who are willing to risk what they have in their hands with the full faith they have for themselves inside. If they happen to lose all their money to that job they will just be in sorrow for a couple of days maybe even hours but then, they would get up again and try to open another door for themselves greeting their own inside.

This is the mentality of an achiever, the ones we idolize, the ones we look up to. They are the ones reaching the comfortable, cozy future from the rocky, uncomfortable, not-so-welcoming, full of big and small risks and steps with fears road. It is a brave and for some a “reckless” act to go on walking that way. However, it is actually a way of understanding, developing, and discovering life and its handicaps with the gifts it can bring you.
