The “Real” System

In this world, we know nothing but human-made rules. Even this writing is done according to those rules, weird right? We wake up in our beds that we put the name of and know the exact description of, and then live our day accordingly to a system created by the upper ones. We have control over nothing, and we are taught that anything other than that is rebellious or crazy. Are we even real at this point?

From birth to death we learn things, and we are hungry for information. Because without it we would be no different from animals. We learn how to communicate and control our bodies then get sent to school for eighteen years. We then get sent to a job to provide us with money which is in some ways equivalent to time. Without it, we can’t live in a world where even water, a basic need, costs it. Why do we need such a system? Why are we nothing without it? Let’s act like the universe has been here for forty-six days, Earth has been here for four hours, and we have been here for only one minute. In that minute, we become the reason for four mass extinctions. No one seems to blink an eye at this problem and whenever it is brought up people act like they are not the ones causing it. Now let’s get back to our actual question, is anything real? Are we in a simulation? Everything seems to be just in place, we have a system and a cycle created for us, and we have adapted to the world as it is. The ones who didn’t or tried to bring up how it was wrong were killed. So what is in the future? In less than seven years it is predicted that Earth won’t be a liveable place. What are we doing to stop it? Nothing. Because we have accepted it as our fate, it is too late now. It was brought up once, and everybody tried to act on it, but it has almost been a year yet nothing has changed. Everyone got back to their life cycle, the people we see every day randomly selected, the people we talk to once in our lifetime and never again, the people we wonder why they were there when we saw them..did they get back to it? They all have different lives, different memories, and different endings. If we are so hungry for information, why do we know nothing about them?

There are endless questions with endless answers. But one thing for sure is, we will never know if the answers are actually right. We might be real or not; we might even be in a coma or in a freezer that will be opened in the future. Everything might be a lie or a truth. For now, we have to “live” to not die, because that is the only thing no one has knowledge of.
