The Power of Language

Language is a crucial communication tool. In addition, it is used  to express  thoughts and feelings. However, numerous people have a question in their minds: Can it be used to preserve the cultural heritage and shape the future?

   The cultural heritages of nations are written in heaps of things such as monuments. The power of language is used in these historical writings. These cultural and historical things can’t be explained literally without using the strengthness of language. Therefore, the culture of nations can be preserved from the years that flow by.

   Can languages be used to make bonds between people?  Communication can’t happen between two people if they do not share the same mother tongue. People have to know the same language to communicate with each other strongly. Speaking the same language will obstruct misapprehensions. Lots of issues can occur because of misunderstandings. The solution is speaking the same language which is really simple. In addition, language strengths the bonds between numerous people. Majority of the people have impressive and terrific relationships with their family relatives and friends owing to language.

   Language is really prominent for shaping the identity of a nation. A nation should have unique things for itself such as language. Numerous people can live in a country and they can speak lots of different languages. However, the country should have only one language. It shouldn’t be changed by anyone. Furthermore, Türkiye has an exclusive language for itself. It shows the independence of Türkiye, too. The future of a country depends on it’s independence and characteristic features. Language comes first from other characteristic features of countries. People can develop themselves by using and preserving their own languages in the future. Therefore, lots of future things of countries such as developments depend on languages.

    To sum up, language isn’t used for only communication. It can be used for shaping the future, strengthing the bonds between individuals, shaping the identity of a nation and preserving the cultural heritage.
