The graph below gives information about the population increase of India and China between years 2000-2050.
In 2000 the population of India is 1 billion and whereas the population of China is 1.25 billion. Initially the population of China is bigger than that of India. The population of both China and India increased over time but population of India increased at a faster rate.
Today, population of China is bigger than the population of India. It is predicted that in year 2030, the population of China will be equal to that of India. After 2030, it is estimated that the population of India will pass the population of China. After 2030, it is predicted that the population of China will start to decrease. For this reason, the population of China is estimated to be same in year 2015 and in year 2050. The rate of population increase is expected to contibue in a similiar way as previously. In year 2050, the popuılation of India is expected to be 1.6 billion and the population of China is 1.4 billion.
