The Obscurity of Love

It was cold. I could feel the snow on my face, but didn’t I die? I saw Aubrey chopping my head off. I felt it. Am I in heaven now? Probably not. I pinched myself to see if it was real. It was. Was it a dream? What about Rose? Was she real? I had lots of questions in my head but first I needed to find shelter as soon as possible. I got myself up and began walking. After a few minutes, I found a compass on the ground. It had a weird shape and it was a very small pocket compass. It was just laying around and there was absolutely no one around me, or at least that was what I thought so. I grabbed the tiny compass and checked which direction I was going. I was going south. I was already used to the snow, instead of making me feel cold it felt like I got lots of cuts on my body.
It was a bit painful. While I was walking silently, I saw a hut-like house with bright lights in it. I still had faith that I was going to live. When I was at the door of the house there was a sign. It said, “I’m a coffee bean… And you see…” the rest of the sign was engraved and it was impossible to read, but what could it be? I couldn’t think more so I rang the bell. A girl that is my age opened the door. She seemed familiar but I couldn’t tell who was she because I felt like I did not sleep for 4 entire days. She let me in. She had purple hair, which was very familiar. She had a cute voice and she was tall. I fell asleep as I was watching her. When I woke up she was asleep too. I got up and went to the bathroom to wash my hands.
When I got my jacket off I saw lots of scars on my arm. That must be why I felt cuts on me while it was snowing. They were kind of purple instead of red. Shouldn’t the scars be red? Then I realized I had scars everywhere on my body. When I got back to the living room, the girl wasn’t there. I got back on the couch and pretended to sleep. I was having short flashbacks of my life. After a few minutes, I remembered that the girl was Rose! I should be her. Everything was matching with her. Eyes, voice, hair, height, but was she, Rose? And if she is, what if she doesn’t remember me? While I was thinking someone entered the room. I couldn’t see her face but I hope it was Rose. Well, it actually was Rose! She got a tissue on her hand. I wonder what is that for? She lifted the tissue and slowly pressed it into my mouth. It smelled kind of funny but as soon as I said that I fainted. Even though I fainted I could feel her hands dragging me somewhere.
I barely opened my eyes to see if there was any danger. Then I opened it fully. I was in her basement. She tied me to a chair with light chains that I was able to break, but not now. I saw Rose on the corner wielding some knives and other stuff. There was a chainsaw beside me and it was fully fueled. Rose turned up to me. “Well well, isn’t that my old beloved? Awwwww, did you swallow your tongue? What’s the matter, sweetie? Seeing me after 2 months like this made you sad? Oh did you think I was dead? No! I missed you, honey. But you will leave after a few minutes, so enjoy looking at me! This will be the last face you’ll see!” She giggled. I was speechless. That couldn’t be Rose. She was not like this, and her house wasn’t like this as well. She had a psychopathic smile. She grabbed the biggest knife and began walking towards me. She came closer and closer to my face with her psychopathic smile until I heard her breathing.
I could feel her heart pounding in my chest. She kissed me one last time. She was about to stab me but everything went pitch black. I couldn’t see anything or couldn’t hear anything. Am I dead yet? After everything I felt, lived, and loved. But then, my consciousness came. I wasn’t in Rose’s basement, indeed it wasn’t real at all! It was such a relief. But there was still a problem. Where was I? Then another familiar face appeared. It was Aubrey! “Hiiiiii! Guess who is back, me!” I was pissed off. “What kind of drugs did you give me? Why wouldn’t you already kill me!?” She laughed like she was having fun of me getting hurt. “Did you see Rose again? Couldn’t you stop thinking about her? That’s so cute! Wait here while I bring the chainsaw okay? Be a good boy!” Who does she think she is by calling me a good boy? She went upstairs and closed the door shut and locked it. They tied me with a rope to it was easy to rip it off. After being free I grabbed the lockpick on the desk and ran to the locked door. I haven’t got time so I should be faster. I heard Aubrey shouting, “Heeeeey! I’m coming! Better settle yourself up!” I finally opened the door. Aubrey was staring at me while armed. She pointed the gun at me. “Hey get back here!” I began running into the house trying to avoid getting shot. I finally found a window and jumped to it. The glass pane shattered on my head but I had to keep going. I was lucky that I in the 1st floor. I rolled when I fell to avoid getting slower and eventually escaped. When I get to the city. I went to my house. When I was at the door I had only one problem. Where were my keys?
