The Life I Prefer

Life is a precious and fragile concept. It can last so little yet contain so much, so how and where you spend it is quite important. But nowadays the “normal” ways of living are very limited due to the growth of civilizations. Conditions to live in usually only ranges from a life in a secluded place or a crowded city. Even though there are other ways of living these two are the most common ones and the choice comes down to where you would you prefer to live in. Although I cannot know your thoughts and your opinion on this subject, I can share mine.

While life in a metropolis brings in more opportunities, especially in our modern life, I would choose a small quiet place. This is not based on the idea that is going around about how “Cities are bad” ect. but more so that I find more joy in myself than in others. This doesn’t mean that I dont like socializing, far from it actually. I would still keep in contact with people from cities, specifically my family, and I would love to make friends in said small place, but I think that finding my own strength and learning to enjoy my life with myself is more important than any socializing I may do. Learning to survive on my own would be the greatest skill that I can acquire.

That is not the only reason on why I would choose a secluded place. I would also enjoy exploring and appreciating the beauty in the things around me. While I can go on vacations by getting a job in a metropolis, I’d much rather live a “vacation” my whole life than only go on a vacation once every year. There are exceptions to this with people finding the beauty in cities, but it is more common to see people who live in secluded and quiet places appreciate the simple aspects of life and our world.

So in my opinion, while both places to live may have many benefits surrounding them, living in a safe and quiet place would be more beneficial to my health, my mind and my ability to live my life.
