The Legend of The West

At the end of 1911, John Marston (who was one of the members of Van Der Linde gang back in 1899) and his family were seized by the lawman Edger Ross and the statesmen who worked for him, in the region between the USA and Mexico border, which is considered to be a kind of wild west. Agents and Edger Ross had told John that they would release his family in exchange for capturing Bill Williamson and Javier Escuella, the leaders of his former gang.

With no other choice, John was on his way to New Austin to capture or kill one of his greatest enemies, Bill Williamson, his former gang mate, now leading his own gang in Fort Mercer. John had boarded a train in Blackwater which happened after he talked to Edger Ross by himself and had gone to New Austin to search for his former gang members and rescue his family. John had gone to Armadillo to find Bill Williamson, but was unable to find him there. Then he went to Fort Mercer to reach Bill. When he found Bill, he had tried to persuade Bill to give up peacefully. John had been shot and left to die as it was happened 1908. John was found by Bonnie and her farmers the night he was left to die. They had taken John to their home. When John woke up, he had waited for the night and attacked Fort Mercer. Bill had survived and fled to his old gang member who left john to die back in 1908, Mexico to Javier Escuella.

Escuella and Bill Williamson escaped in a stagecoach, but were quickly shot dead by John Marston. Later, John returns to West Elizabeth to meet with Edgar Ross. Ross had not kept his promise when John returned that he would leave himself and his family alone because John did what he wanted. When John learned of this, he calmly asked Edger “Is this your final decision”. Edger looked at John and smiled. John had suddenly pulled out his revelvor and shot Edger. Then he killed anyone who got up in Blackwater and saved his family. John and his family had forgotten all these events and found a farm and lived until 1914. But in 1914 John was found and killed by the Pinkertons.
