It was a brightening day. I was working on my Time Machine at the garage while taking a sip of my coffee. Then all of a sudden, my mom called me: “Julia the dinner is ready!” Then I realized how hungry I was because I have been working on the machine for hours. I got up and went to the kitchen. I ate the food she gave me and then went back to the garage again.
I got the screwdriver and started working again. When all of a sudden, the machine started shaking and something happened. I travelled back in time, maybe to the future. I was so confused and didn’t know what to do because I had no idea how to work the machine. I was trapped in a desert and no one was around. I stood up and started wandering around thinking maybe I could find someone. I couldn’t find any signs that there were people living here. I needed to find a place to spend the night. When I was about to give up, I heard a “pssst” sound. I got scared at first and shouted: “Hello? Is there someone?” No one answered. Then a blue thing just jumped in front of me! I tried to hit him but I couldn’t. He laughed so hard then introduced himself: “My name is Aladdin; wish 3 things and I’ll make it come true.” I was shocked but I didn’t want to wish anything at the moment. I asked him if there was anywhere nearby to spend the night. He didn’t answer but started going somewhere so I followed him. He brought me to a small village. There was not so many people but they looked so kind. When I was looking around, I realized that Aladdin was not with me. I started searching for Aladdin by shouting his name. Then an old woman came and talked to me: “Oh dear, there is no one called Aladdin here. Aladdin is the genie who emerges from the lamp in the myths. “I was surprised that she said this because I just saw him but I couldn’t tell her because she was in a hurry. She was talking about a lamp and I had to find a lamp to get to Alaaddin.
I started searching around and thought that I could get into people’s house to find him. But how was I going to get in their houses? First, I went to a public place and searched around but nothing was there. When I was going outside, I heard two women talking about a lamp. It was the same old woman and a young pretty woman. The old woman: “Julia came here and she was trying to find Alaaddin. I’m hiding him in my house and hearing trapped. Julia must go away before he gets out.” I couldn’t believe what I heard just now and then ran outside before they saw me. I tried to talk to someone else to find the old woman’s house. There was a kid who was selling lemonade. I asked him where her house was. He said that the woman was so dangerous and he suggested me to not go there but I had to because I had to make a wish to get home. So, he showed me the way to her home. I started walking. It was getting dark so I didn’t think that I was that noticeable. Finally, when I found the house, I tried the front door. It was open. I got in and started searching for the lamp. I saw something shine for a second but it disappeared. I went there and started searching. Probably Alaaddin was trying to escape. I found him in the chimney. He had blue strips and he was pure gold. I started rubbing him to get him out. When he got hot, he thanked me and told me that I had 3 more wishes to make.
I wished for him to take me home. I was home after the 2-hour journey that I made with Alaaddin. Thanks to him I’m with my mom now and I hope he is happy right now too.
