Hello Melis,
How are you doing? I hope you are well. As you remember, last time we were together, we talked about how strange and realistic our dreams were. I will tell you about the extremely fascinating dream I had last night. It’s a lovely coincidence considering we talked about this topic yesterday.
My dream was set in a wonderful and lively town, like the setting in the movie “Aladdin.” There was a soft breeze in the air, gentle enough to stroke my hair. I was walking through warm sand when I stumbled upon a genie lamp. At first, I didn’t believe that it was real but as I inspected it, I noticed that it was almost too perfect to be fake. Nonetheless my curiosity got to the best of me, and I picked up the lamp. The lamp was a golden colour with very intricate details, the design was eye catching. I couldn’t wait any longer and started rubbing the lamp as I had seen in the movies. I shut my eyes tight while waiting for the genie to appear, I had waited for a little while and nothing had happened. I was close to putting the lamp down and giving up hope when a fog started forming in front of me. Soon after the fog cleared, an enormous genie appeared. The genie was ethereal blue with a moustache and a small black ponytail. The genie excitedly spoke “It is so good to finally be out, and I definitely need a good stretch after being in this lamp for 10,000 years, you would think that they would have made the lamp bigger by now!” I laughed at the genies jokes while the genie continued speaking “Ask whatever wish you want from me, and I shall grant it.” I was already expecting this question but hearing it out loud was interesting. I thought long and hard and asked my first question “How many wishes do I get?” The genie laughed and answered, “I get this question more often than you’d think, unfortunately you only get one wish.” I sighed with slight disappointment and shortly after I gave voice to wish “I wish for teleportation abilities.” The genie looked at me and asked, “I was expecting something like unlimited money, but sure teleportation abilities is also quite smart.” I nodded my head approving the genie, and before I could test my ability to teleport wherever whenever I wanted, I woke up.
My dream was super fun yet strange at the same time, but sadly I didn’t get to use my teleportation abilities. Hopefully next time I can use it and my dream will be even more adventurous. It was great writing to you, see you next time.
