I think if we use technology for negative purposes, such as spreading fake news or defrauding people, it has a negative impact. But, if we use it for communication or learning important things, it becomes a positive thing. Using technology to expose leaders who speak lies is negative, and on the internet, some people learn bad things while others learn useful things, like studying for exams online.
The internet is both good and bad; on one hand, people can quickly learn things, like studying for exams when school is closed because of snow. On the other hand, platforms like YouTube can cause negative speech and bad behaviors. Although globalization has both positive and negative results, it’s not always helpful, especially when it comes to problems like wars.
We cannot wish for the absence of the internet or globalization because they are necessary in today’s world. So, whether it is positive or negative depends on how we control and use the technology.
