Sweet Revenge

I was sitting on our couch with a pillow that I was using it to hide my fa so that I could feel a little less embarrassed. My twin sister was sitting next to me, also she was hiding. While we were watching the news about us in the TV with our whole family, my little cousin (who caused us to be in that embarrassing situation) could not stop his giggles. His giggles turned into laughter. After that me and my twin sister could not stand him laughing about us being on the news with such a silly thing. We both threw the pillows in front of us to him strongly.

Let me take you just thirty-six hours ago, yesterday morning. Yesterday, we all woke up earlier than normal because yesterday was mine and my twin sister’s sixteenth birthday. It was such a big deal not only for me and my twin sister, but also our whole family. Because we are first child of our parents, and first grandchildren of both mom’s side and dad’s side. Because we, their old flame, their little babies were turning sixteen. Of course, it was such a big deal.

We planned a big party, and invited all of our relatives regardless they are close or not. Plus, both me and my twin sister invited all of our friends we have in our sixteen years lifetime. Friends from kindergarten, primary school, middle school, high school, our old neighborhood, current neighborhood… They were all going to be here. We were almost done for the party’s preparations. Mom made two delicious cakes because of the number of people, and also me and my sister arguing about the flavor. Thanks God, Dad helped us with the decorations, so they were also perfect. Almost everyone was here, and I had never been so ready do implementing the plan I made.

I want to take you 10 years and 1 day ago from now. It was our sixth birthday. We were celebrating it in kindergarten with all the other children and teachers. And we had moved on to my favorite part of birthdays: BLOWING OUT THE CANDLES! My sister blew both her candles and my candles. I don’ remember an angrier part in my whole life. I had been waiting for revenge for 10 years. And the day came: 10 years after from that that, which means yesterday.

I was planning to do the same thing with her. I wanted revenge, I wanted to blow out her candles. Whatever happened happened at that very moment, when I was blowing out the candles. She realized what I was about to do. She took her cake in her hand and threw it in my face. Unluckily, one of the candles touched my hair and my hair caught on fire. All people panicked but Dad extinguished the fire. Our little cousin who was filming all of these, sent the video to a news channel and posted it on the internet without permission. Thanks to him, we went viral and now, all country is laughing at us.
