My Favorite Summer Farm Life

Some people naturally love village, farm and nature life. Some people find this village life very difficult. When we think of farming, we immediately think of cows, pigs, lambs and chickens, but in my opinion, farming life means getting along with nature, being one with it, and also loving animals. I think that farm life also affects a person’s brain and way of thinking, making movements easier. I prefer this beautiful, breathtaking and spacious farm life to the filth of the dirty city.

Farm life is always the perfect place for me. This must be a family tradition. My grandfather and my grandfather’s father were always interested in these subjects and loved farm life, but my father does not like nature very much, he is definitely a city person. Whenever I go for a walk in nature, he always rejects my offer. I especially love visiting my grandfather’s farmhouse every summer. When I visit the farmhouse, my grandmother is there too. I get permission from my father to go to that house every summer, but as I said, my father does not like the city, nature and village life, so he does not find it a good idea to go to the farmhouse. I can say that I begged my father every time so that I could go to my grandfather’s house. Finally, I reached my goal and he was convinced. We set off two days later and arrive at my grandparents’ house about two hours later. Then I gave a big hug to them. When I look at the animals there, they are constantly multiplying and this makes me very happy. I have a very sweet dog there, his name is Puffy. He is a really cute dog. Every time he sees me, he runs towards me and starts barking with joy. After a few hours of longing, we sit down to dinner. As always, my grandmother cooks delicious meals for us and we eat them. Then we walk a little and reach the farm. We take the eggs laid by the chickens, we also give them wheat, we give straw to the cows and clean their droppings, we do the same to the lambs, sheep and goats, then we feed the other animals and clean the land. Where are they, then we leave there, walk a little further and go to the barn. I have a horse there and her name is Sofia. Horses have always been my childhood dream, and now I owe having a horse to my grandfather.

You have a lot of work and responsibilities in your farm life, it is really tiring. According to my grandfather, it might be fun because he doesn’t have another job, but it is not possible for me to continue school and farming at the same time, but when I retire in the future, I would love to buy a farmhouse and do these jobs.
