Today, with the developing technology, many professions and career options have created. Although professions involving programing attract attention, professions like medicine and engineering are still popular. As the sentence stated if I had to select being a successful engineer and break new ground in technology with new inventions or become a successful doctor and touch human life. I would probably a successful engineer and break new ground in technology with new inventions. Because I think It is easier and more interesting to do which makes people’s life easier and we use engineer products nearly everything.
Firstly, the profession medicine and engineering has a lot of sub-branches. However, the general courses of many engineering branches are the same. For example, it is easier for a physical engineer to understand the work of an electrical engineer than for a cardiac surgeon to do a brain surgeon. That’s why if I select a successful engineer and break new ground technology with new inventions it could be from any topic except some branches because if you are a chemical engineer it would be hard to understand a work of an electrical engineer because their courses are completely different. But in brief, it would be more free to invent something in engineering. Secondly, the tools that doctors use are made by engineers. For example, the light that used in the surgery room has to be bright but also it has to be cold for the patient and these kinds of equipments are made by engineers. Also, the programs and the machines to check patient’s condition are made by engineers. In total, you could save lives and make them easy by making a new technology or a device by being an engineer However if I would be a doctor that save lives I couldn’t make a device that helps all the doctors. In short, if I would be an engineer I would be more helpful to patients and doctors. Not only in medicine, if I would be an engineer I could do lots of programs and devices that help people’s lives and makes them easier like telephone. Or make them entertain like television, or to make easier transportation. Electric cars are on the rise nowadays and
if as an engineer I could solve the battery problem of electric cars, I would make a huge contribution to the environment and transportation.
In conclusion, if I would select being a successful engineer and break new ground in technology with new inventions rather than being a life saving doctor I think I would be more helpful to society because of the possibilities that it has.
