We live as a whole in the society, and there are many differences between each and every individual. There are many races and religions, different beliefs and styles. Yet, in the end we all are human, even if there are countless differences. Although, everyone is unique and special in their own way; some people still come to the conclusion that they’re not enough for the ideals of the society. These people usually tend to be jealous of others. Whether the person they envy is their friend, a family member, a rival, or even someone they see as a stranger yet say: “Why can’t I be like them?”
In today’s standards, it’s not so unusual for someone to say this phrase every now and then; but nowadays it has become more and more common and even the slightest bit of jealousy can easily morph into hatred. These kind of people are often dissatisfied with what they are, and want to be like someone else for the reason that this special someone has something they don’t. People can envy anyone no matter if; it’s their looks, their intelligence or even their personality. But are these people we see as the “perfect being”, really the most flawless individual to ever exist? In fact, everyone has got their own flaws and insecurities; nonetheless of the beauties we see in them, the other picture of someone should never let us prejudice that person; as in what they say “Don’t judge a book by it’s cover” We should come to realize that everyone has struggles on their own way, and what you may see as a charm in someone could be their biggest insecurity; cause in world full of differences, everyone has their own ideals and standards. What you may see as a flaw could possibly be a desire for somebody else.
In conclusion: everyone is different and unique in their own way, and we shouldn’t go up and say “I wish were like them!” Cause your charm; is worldwide.
