One day, instead of blue, the sky started raining green and everything changed…
The day the sky turned green, the world got weird. At first people just stared thinking it was some kind of trick or maybe a pollution or a strange sunset. But then the rain started falling and it wasn’t normal. The drops were bright and definitely green. People are covering their heads like the color alone could hurt them.
Lena stood by her window and watching. The green rain splashed onto the road sinking into the grass like it belonged there. The trees which had looked dead and dry just yesterday suddenly seemed full of life. Even the water droplets weren’t acting right. The water moved in slow like it was thinking.
The next morning, the air smelled different. Fresher, sharper, like the moment right before a storm. People who had been caught in the rain said they felt weird. One guy on the news claimed he could hear voices in the wind. Others said their senses were stronger colors brighter sounds clearer.
Then the plants started moving.At first, it was small things. Flowers opened and closed as if they were breathing. But soon it got serious. Roots cracked through the streets overnight. Vines slithered up buildings like snakes. Scientists tried to explain it, but no one had real answers. Was it some kind of plant disease? Or a Magic?
Lena wasn’t scared though. She had let the rain touch her and now she could feel something different. When she placed her hand on a tree she feels the reality and felt like it when she walked barefoot on the grass.
The world was changing but not everyone saw it that way. The government called it a crisis. They tried to cut down the plants, but they just grew back stronger. Some people thought it was a miracle. Others thought it was the end.
