Seeing the future or changing the past?

Seeing the future or changing the past? In fact, this is a very interesting question whose answer is constantly changing from person to person. At the same time, it is an equally difficult question to answer easily and sloppily, without thinking enough.

First of all, there is a well-known argument, “We can’t see the future, but we can change the past.” Let’s see by. Although my opinion is that it can be very useful to see the future, the possibilities of changing the past are indeed many. Being able to erase past mistakes is an incredible power, both personally and socially. A very simple example of this is to prevent wars in history. Being able to prevent the recent Covid-19 and other viruses before they happen is an invaluable skill.

As I mentioned before, it is very useful in seeing the future, contrary to what is said. It’s simply being able to see the disasters that will happen. But with this power comes the need to persuade people, and this is a very high level challenge. For example, while this power allows to see a terrorist attack in the future, it also requires people to believe that this terrorist attack will happen, and it can also cause big problems for the person with power. Even if the person succeeds in convincing the government and the government can stop this terrorist attack, this person with power will be questioned and thought to be a supporter of terrorism.

In my opinion, this argument is more justified than other well-known arguments. For this reason, I will not mention other arguments in this article. To offer my own argument: “Seeing the future has its benefits, but it’s risky. Rather than taking risks, it makes more sense to use greater power, such as turning to the past.”
