“Prejudice” is a strong and a tough word. It is a word which is a collection of attitudes which supports an idea or justifies discrimination depending on the direction of the attitude. Prejudice could be a good sign of observation or a judgmental mind which is perhaps not in a bad intention, however, we see dozens of events occurring in our precious world which are not really in a kind or in a good intention against a plenty of people. For instance, there are cruel statements that are frequently regarding nationality and skin color; as we can see, there are massive protests taking place all over the world to end the issue of discrimination. This glaring truth demonstrates the strength of prejudice in moving the entire world in many aspects.
I have mentioned that it is a tough word beside being strong. Regarding it we are, as humans most of the time, against talking about our prejudices with other people which causes many endless mazes to get into an endless cycle in our poor minds due to the absence of a variety of knowledge. Without any fund of knowledge, our mind and soul have no price at all, moreover, it will also have no point and significant value for other people. Therefore, creating and having prejudices with no base structure for that kind of a person is pretty common. In order to get rid of any meaningless source of prejudice, we need to talk and share our opinions with people, for the purpose of feeding our minds like how we feed our bodies. The endless devious traps of demonized discrimination which are giving many people nightmares can only be addressed throughout this way. We always have the choice of deciding how to share our prejudices with others in a kind manner; there is no need to demonstrate the tough aspects of the word “prejudice”. We may also choose to treat others with the same consideration that we should show ourselves.
To conclude, moving the world shouldn’t be a choice at all, since in the end, if we can’t change people’s thoughts, changing the world is pointless. Prejudice will always exist in society, therefore, we may accept this fact and try to be less biased next time when we begin to have harsh and tough opinions related to others. As I’ve already indicated, prejudice may be headed in a positive way, but it’s also critical to be conscious of its negative aspects. If we don’t recognise our prejudices, we risk entangling people in the hideous, never-ending mazes we’ve constructed. Why are humans too driven to turn into demons? Meanwhile we can be the ones changing the world starting from our minds.
