Rights of Wrongs

Throughout the history of the lives of women, children, disabled, and abnormal people (to sum up, people who are out of the norms of the patriarchy) always had an obligation to explain and defend themselves while being addressed under specific conditions. Basic needs of theirs have been seen as “valuable” and been stated the “importance of them” “orally”. However, as the time for them to take action towards the issues came out on the surface, not only the issues but the true intentions of these people comes out too. The “oh-so-important” labour force of women forms into doing house chores and engaging in domestic duties; education of children turns into as long as they get a job that they can earn money, pay their bills and taxes; integration of the disabled people into the society becomes getting humiliated at daycare centres.
Thus, one can easily understand that if you have to clarify a basic need or someone states how sincerely they care about a basic human right, it means that the right has already been taken from you even before you have a chance to defend yourself and claim it. These actions are just like saying “I have the right to breathe.” or an employer telling their employee “We value you have a healthy breathing environment.” Rights are the thread mills of your life where they are a must and should be put down to your life journey. A mental need is not less than a physical need such as sleeping or eating. Furthermore, a basic requirement in the workplace environment, for example getting respectfully treated among different levels of the workforce or getting valued as a human being, is again not less valuable than a crucial human right.
Someone’s concern about a right is only indeed shown through their actions. Orally stated opinions and values are usually the ones that are only said to be said and not said to be done. Addressing a solution is not enough if it is only suggested and not taken a step from it too. Creating awareness or educating from a young age, not only in schools but of course in the house, plays an important role in his goal to be achieved and maintained. Taking action in something planned, especially in cases of defending the rights or even only the rights themselves, is an essential skill a community should own if they want to develop and go forward being sustainable.
