Review: “ The Maze Runner”

The “Maze Runner” series, based on James Dashner’s novels follows Thomas, a teenager who wakes up in a mysterious maze with no memory of his past. Alongside a group called “Gladers ” he navigates deadly obstacles and uncovers the dark truth behind them. The series, consist of three films “The Maze Runner,” “The Scorch Trials,” and “The Death Cure” explores themes of survival, friendship, and the fight against cruel sources.

Dylan O’Brien delivers a breath-taking performance as Thomas, capturing the characters courage and determination. All members of the cast have great acting skills so this makes you sink into the movie even more. The visuals in this movie are a big part of the series. The labyrinthine landscapes are visually stunning, giving you that sense of isolation and danger. Special effects are well made, especially in the action scenes where the Gladers are being chased by the maze monsters will make you sweat and get you into the film’s thrilling atmosphere.

Personally, I found the series to be very gripping. From the beginning to the finale, you feel like all of your emotions are put in a bowl and mixed up. I would recommend the “Maze Runner” series to the lovers of sci-fi and adventure films. It offers not only thrilling action but also a thought-provoking criticism on trust and leadership in different circumstances, making it a worthwhile watch for both teens and adults.
