Report: Recommendations for Out-of-School Activities

Introduction

In fulfilling the task assigned, I focus in this report on the need to create opportunities for students for useful off school activities which contribute towards student growth. After soliciting views from students and parents, I have propose three options for consideration.

Option 1: Sports Club

Sports Club allow students to engage in football, basketball and swimming among other activities. Participating in sports not only helps to create healthy habits but also enhances teamwork and discipline. A good number of students were quite keen on the inclusion of this option, citing how much they love to compete and interact. Most parents were equally in support of it and pointed out that exercising is important for general health.

Option 2: Art Workshop

Art Workshop provides an opportunity for students to paint and draw and during these activities, students are encouraged to express themselves. Students who have creative passions such as painting or drawing are quite fond of the idea as it will allow them to display their skills. They further stated that the massage effect of art is likely to help in stress relief and enhance their mental wellbeing.

Option 3: Community Service Program

The Community Service Program involves volunteering at animal shelters or participating in community clean-up events. Both students and parents highlighted the importance of giving back to the community. This option not only creates a sense of responsibility but also strengthens bonds with the local community.

Recommendation

While all options are beneficial, Community Service Program stands out as the best choice. It develops essential life skills and creates empathy. Students can also gain experience that may support their future career paths or college applications.
