Report: Out Of School Activities

As requested by my teacher, I have prepared a report about the activities we can do outside the school. Our headteacher has recommended three out-of-school activity options for us; Sports Club, Art Workshop and Coding Class. I have interviewed my classmates, and my findings are presented below.

The Sports Club has many beneficial effects on students. First and foremost, increasing physical activity improves physical health and supports mental well-being, enhancing overall quality of life. Other than that, you can get to know more people and socialize with your new friends. However, balancing academics and sports can be quite challenging for some people.

The Art Workshop is a more calming and relaxing place. Firstly, it encourages self-expression and imaginative thinking. It also teaches new techniques and enhances art skills while providing a therapeutic outlet for relaxation. On the other hand, some students may feel anxious about their abilities in a group environment or they may struggle to for workshops into their schedules.

Coding class is a course to help students learn programming and coding skills. In the first place it enhances logical thinking and problem-solving abilities and may open doors to various tech-related job prospects such as software developer, web developer or data analyst. Nevertheless, some topics can be overwhelming for students and this can lead to confusion and difficulty in grasping foundational concepts, making it hard for them to keep up.

To sum up, the Sports Club is the best choice as it supports both physical and mental health while encouraging teamwork.

Even though Art Workshops and Coding Class also offer us unique benefits, a balanced program for the students would be more appealing.
