Introduction
As required, I have prepared a report about a coding class I attended last week. I also interviewed my classmates to gather their opinions, and my findings are presented below.
Positive Points
One of the most commendable aspects of this coding class is the absence of disruptive or unmotivated students. This is largely due to a pre-enrollment survey that ensures only committed and qualified participants are accepted. Additionally, the class environment is welcoming and convivial, which boosts students’ confidence. Mistakes are not met with fear, allowing students to learn and grow comfortably. Another positive highlight is the teacher, who is widely praised by participants for being patient and kind. This teaching approach makes learning both enjoyable and accessible, even for beginners.
Negative Points
Despite its advantages, the class has significant drawbacks. Firstly, the number of computers is insufficient, leading to limited spots. Students who are not quick enough to register miss out on the opportunity to attend. Moreover, the participation fee is excessively high. As a result, many students are unable to afford the class and must drop out. This creates an inequitable learning environment.
Another major issue is the quality of the equipment and software. While the high fee creates expectations of premium facilities, the reality is disappointing. Many students reported frequent technical problems, such as computers freezing or code being deleted unexpectedly. These issues caused significant frustration and disrupted the learning process.
Conclusion
Overall, while the coding class has a welcoming environment and an excellent teacher, its significant issues—limited spots, overpriced fees, and poor-quality equipment—overshadow its strengths. I do not recommend this class, as the costs far outweigh the benefits, and the technical problems undermine its educational value.
