Pollution Outside the World

“Mom!” she yelled, searching for her mother in the shopping center. Her mom was looking at souvenirs to buy for her sister, but she didn’t hear her because it was hard to hear in such a crowded place. At last, they found each other.

Her mother said, “It’s so crowded on Mars. I can smell everyone’s dirty sweat. They’re going to pollute other planets, and soon there will be no sign of life on them, just like on Earth.” She agreed, as that was exactly what had happened on Earth. Mars was smaller than Earth, but they could always travel to Uranus and Neptune too.

They went back to their little hut, which had an ENORMOUS garden. The soil on Mars was orange, and some plants, fruits, and vegetables were different from those on Earth. She said the password to the door handle—everyone had one of those now. Technology was advancing in wild ways.

They used to live on Earth, but people polluted it so much that no one could survive there anymore. This place was good, but it wasn’t like Earth. People were happy here, but nothing had really changed—they were still polluting the environment. And they didn’t care at all! They kept talking about how cool this place was, and no one felt guilty.
