It is clear to young people with young mindsets are more interested in new songs. Generations changed and also the songs and lyrics too, of course, changed the audience too. Our parents have always said that old songs are better to hear and said that we will understand what they mean when we get older. I still listen to some music that doesn’t have any logical means but my opinion about it is when I listen to something that I can relate to or understand, feel is much better to hear.
I remember that when I was a kid I was listening to ridiculous songs and enjoying them. But when I grow up a little my taste changed and I started to listen to some songs which have good lyrics. I started to relate to some of them like feeling the pain of the singer, cheering up with a song, or missing someone with the relative lyrics. Listening to music gets better to ear when you started to feel the music.
Generally, little kids listen to music for dancing or just play around not to understand what is it saying. That’s why young generations listen that songs more. They don’t search for lyrics that have meant they just listened to them. But adults are being careful about what they say in the songs. They listen to them while they are feeling and they generally listen to old songs.
