Past or Future

The time machine is the invention that everyone wanted, dreamed of and wanted to use when they were little. But when we were little, the historical events we knew were limited and we couldn’t think of the best option for us. Now I’m asking you, if you had a time machine, what time would you go to? Yes, maybe our imagination was richer when we were younger, but I’m sure at this age it will be easier for you to choose a time that will benefit you more or that you are very curious about.

Personally, if I had a time machine, I wouldn’t choose to go to the future because then when I come back, life will have no meaning for me. It wouldn’t make me happy to see what I am going to be  when I grow up, what my life will be like and my physical appearance. You may think like, if I see that I am in a good condition in future I won’t have any fear for future but that’s not like that for me. Right now I don’t have a fear about future that’s why I won’t prefer going to.

I would go back to the past and choose the years of the War of Independence  because it suprises me a lot that how we won against all of that diffuculty. I want see how hard it was  for the army and for the people who lived there. Not beacuse I love seeing them suffer, I want to see them beacause I can’t believe it that they achieved something huge. The sacrifises that they did for the army, the determination on their eyes. I also want to see the revolution that Atatürk has made for the good of the country. Abolition of the Sultanate, giving women equal rights with men and more. I really appreciate the revolutions of Atatürk and the contribution he made to the country.

The time machine would be an era-opening invention for humanity, and I would really like to see it. This invention can open door in many different ways: it is possible to go back in time and have a big impact and influence the future of the world. But of course, this invention can lead to negative results, so care should be taken. If you were me where would you go, what would you do, what would you change or what would you observe? Think about these questions and compare your idea with mine.
