Introduction
This report evaluates three potential out-of-school activities for our school: a Coding Class, an Art Workshop, and a Community Service Program. The aim is to provide a summary of the benefits of each option and suggest the best activity based on their ability to improve students skills and experience.
Coding Class
The Coding Class is focused on teaching students basic programming languages such as Python and HTML. It provides students with practical learning opportunities where they can develop their problem-solving skills, creativity, and teamwork through projects such as game or website development. This activity is ideal for preparing students for the future.
Art Workshop
The Art Workshop provides a space for students to explore creative activities such as drawing, and painting. It gives students a chance for them to express themselves in various ways while developing artistic skills. It also promotes emotional well-being which also directly effects the academic performance of the students by offering a possible way out of stress.
Community Service Program
The Community Service Program focuses on volunteering opportunities such as helping at local animal shelters or being part of clean-up projects. It aims to teach responsibility, empathy, and teamwork while strengthening student’s bonds with their community. This activity is specifically valuable for character development as well as helpful for university applications.
Conclusion
Each activity has its strengths and weaknesses but overall all three of them would benefit students. I recommend making Coding Class a strong recommendation. It is synchronized with modern educational trends and prepares students for the future which is a must for the 21st century in a technology-driven world.
