One Piece is the recent book I read. The reason I chose the this book started with one of my friends always recommending this book to me. And finally I started reading the book.
The subject of this book begins with a boy gathering a crew with the desire to become the king of pirates. He gathers a crew because if he wants to be king, he can’t go forward alone. The book shows us what the main character does and what path he follows while achieving his goal.
The name of the main character of the manga is Luffy and he is a very stupid and naive person, but he is as smart and funny as he is stupid. Our main character, Luffy, begins to recruit members for the crew, and these become the side characters of the series. The characters in the crew are Luffy, Zoro, Usopp, Nami, Sanji, Chopper, Robin, Franky, Brook and Jinbei, respectively. Our side characters are weird, just like the main character.
I think this manga is very enjoyable, but it is too long because they made a very long adventure just for the main character to become king, it could have been shorter. This series is still ongoing and has around 1100 episodes. The content of the chapters is very small and fans wait 1 week to read each chapter and sometimes the mangaka (the author of the manga) can take a break from the manga for up to 1 month when he is sick or wants to rest. And I think this is ridiculous.
Anyway, I’m glad my friend suggested this book to me because this book can make you experience a lot of emotions in your free time and when you want to have fun. I thank my friend who recommended this book to me.
