One Note, One Suprise

I woke up to the depressive darkness of a rainy day in the morning. I yawned and stretched for a bit of a time and started getting dressed up for my meeting this afternoon. It was a such a big deal for me and my career since it involved me doing a presentation in front of the most important CEOs and managers in the advertisement sector. I had the chance to get a promotion if everything went as planned.

So, I have left my home in a such hurry that I forgot my wallet at home. Luckily, I was quite close friends with the owner of the coffee house just across the street where my workplace stands and hence I could get some coffee and breakfast with the promise of me paying later. On my way to my boss’ office I ran into some of the businness-partners of the company and we greeted each other briefly. In the blink of an eye, a maid who’s been working for this company for a long time and who I have been helping financially hit me with a portable table which causes some of the cleaning products to fall from the shelves of the table. While I was trying to help, I felt the maid’s hand touching my palm as if she put something there. Before I was able to understand what she has given me, I have heard my boss yelling at me from the very corner of the floor just in the front of his office room. I ran while I wrinkled the paper the maid gave me. My boss and I had planned everything for the meeting and got back to our work for the day.

So I grabbed the paper from my pocket. There was an address written on it with a beautiful hand writing and a note indicating that I should be at this address at the very specific time given. The problem was the given time was just the time my meeting was starting. Normally, I am not the person that take risks based on undefined or unknown things happening around me but I think it was the hand-writing that got me curious. I felt an irresistable sense of action to go to that place and left the workplace to go there. When I arrived there it was quite suprising for me to remember the place somewhere deep down in my memory. I knocked the door and I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw my mother standing in front of me smiling who I know to be lost when I was a teenager.
