ONE MONTH WITHOUT TECHNOLOGY

If I couldn’t use technology for a month, I would probably focus on improving myself in the sports I practice, my studies, or by dedicating more quality time to myself. Technology, when not used properly and when it pulls us away from most activities, can be something that dulls us and negatively affects our physical development.

When we sit down to use technology, it’s something that captivates us and makes us lose track of time. That’s why technology can either help a person develop or bind them to itself, and being aware of this is very important. After all, many of us start using our phones or computers saying, “I’ll only spend half an hour,” maybe because we’re bored or just to pass the time. But almost every time, that half an hour turns into an hour or even two. This is why technology can be very dangerous.

However, instead of wasting time on meaningless games or watching shows on the computer or phone, we can use technology to grow by watching documentaries or conducting research. Sometimes, when our responsibilities become overwhelming—or even just to satisfy ourselves or escape those responsibilities—we turn to technology. This is why, without technology, we can improve ourselves as much as we want.
