Nostalgia and Laughter: A Review of Grown Ups

Are you looking for a film that make you laugh hard a little bit of emotion, “The Grown Ups” is for you. It is a Dennis Dugan’s comedy that play great actors in it like Adam Sandler ,Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade, and Rob Schneider. The performances by the lead cast are solid and bring a delightful mix of humour and heart.

In the movie there are five childhood friend that plays basketball in old time. When their coach pass away they get together after thirty years later they make a decision to spend the weekend at a lake house with their families, which sparks laughter and nostalgia as they catch up and consider their lives.

The visual style of the movie improves the story timeless character by catching the stunning scenery and summertime vibe of the lake house location. In remaining with the film’s fun tone, there aren’t many special effects and instead focus on relationships between characters rather than spectacular visual content. While some of the jokes are cliche and forced, most of the movie is funny.

To sum up, Grown Ups is an ideal comedy movie for everyone who is looking for an enjoyable and cheerful movie. Since it is an old movie, it does not add any innovation to the genre, but the performances of the actors are funny. I recommend you to watch it, especially if you want to have a pleasant evening with your family. If you like the movie, do not forget to give it a chance in the second one.
