New Year’s Miracle

It was the New Year’s Eve. Like in every year we again have family reunion which includes my baby cousins, annoying relatives which I really don’t have any contact with, children are everywhere which needs babysit after a while and my grandparents. I think grandparents and gifts are the only good side of the night because they are the only things that can make me feel great. Every time my mother tries to convince me to join, we argue with each other because I do not want to join such an event-that does mean anything to me- and try to look happy all night long.

This year I decided that they can not force me to do things which really helped me so far. I took the risk oppose to my mother and said “NO!” to my mom without no hesitation. My plan was ready from months ago and this night is going to be a big trailer of my new life in the new year. My plan is to throw a big party with my friends that we can play so much game that we can have fun, we can dance with the music’s we like and act however we want.

In the beginning of the night, I was so happy. Imagine that you can finally feel free and happy without no family member around you but just friends having fun with you, it is amazing. We were dancing like crazy people, then give each other gifts and suddenly skip to boardgames. After a while a bad feeling covered me. I know this feeling because I have gone through this way too much. It is one of the worst feelings. Regret. There is one thing I cannot get and makes me confused. I always wanted to have an enjoyable night with my friends in the New Year’s Eve. Looks like the family is the best part of our lives which we shouldn’t ignore in all costs.

I cancelled the party to throw a new party with my family. I bought some fun games and made a playlist to have fun with all family members. In the past I was always telling myself that “I wish I could do magic” to do not attend the family reunion’s but I was totally wrong. That’s how the story ends my little girl, I hope this story could teach you the importance of family and the time we spend together. Good night.
