One day my mom and dad told us that we had to move to a different state because of their jobs. I was really upset, how was I going to leave my friends, school and home and go to a different state? No matter how much my brother and I begged our family, they still said we had to move. We were going to pack up and move in a month.
That day came, we were going to go from Ankara to Eskişehir. We rented a truck and set off with our belongings. After a 6-hour journey, we arrived at a 3-storey house, I think this was our new home, it had an interesting structure that I had never seen before.
We packed our things and started to tour the house with my brother. Just as we were determining our rooms, we noticed a door in the ceiling. My brother and I immediately went inside and found a chest. As soon as he opened the chest, a ghost appeared from the chest. My brother and I were both very scared, the ghost who noticed our surprise said, “Don’t be afraid, guys, I’m Dixxy, you may have think me look like a ghost, but I’m a human from Planet Oxysus, we were waiting for someone to open this chest to make Earth a better planet, you are it. You are the lucky ones.” she said. I was so scared, I didn’t know what to say. A being who came to save the Earth just came out of a chest, was I dreaming?
Although my brother and I were shocked, we still listened to Dixxy. Dixxy was the kind of human who came to Earth from Planet Oxysus who was aware of how polluted the Earth was and needed people who could do some missions to solve this problem. He asked us to do a few missions and said that if we complete these missions, Earth will be a clean planet. So we agreed to help, our first mission was to begin this evening and we had to go to the attic without our family noticing.
We had our first dinner in our new home and quickly went to the loft with my brother. We opened the chest right away, we saw Dixxy as soon as we opened it. Dixxy said, “Hi guys, your mission today is to go to Egypt and find a bag of green stones next to the pyramids. I know it will be difficult to find a few green stones in a big city. When you enter this chest, the chest will take you to Egypt and your journey will begin.” she said. We were so surprised, when we were told to do a mission to protect the Earth, we thought we would pick up the trash on the ground, but Dixxy tells us we need to find a few stones from the pyramids in Egypt. I was really confused.
My brother and I entered the chest, we were shaken a little, and when we opened the lid of the chest, we were teleported to Egypt. I couldn’t believe my eyes, we had really come to Egypt. My brother said to me, “Hey, we need to do this mission to save Earth.”. He was right, we wandered around a bit. While walking, I found a piece of paper in my pocket. In it, “Call me now!” was writing. There was also a number whose last digit was deleted. I think Dixxy put a phone number in my pocket to help us. Since the last digit of the number was deleted, we had to try all the digits to find the number. We tried with all numbers and when we called the last number we tried, a man picked up the phone and told us how to get to the pyramids. Now we were closer to our goal.
We walked around the pyramids for an hour and finally found that bag full of green stones. We went right back to the ballot box and went inside. When we opened the chest again, we were teleported home, but we were very tired.
Dixxy was waiting for us in the attic. “I congratulate you guys, you did a good job.” she said. But there was one thing we forgot, we still had 9 more missions to complete…
