MY OWN CİTY

The city is a place that takes shape from the depths of my mind. Every street reminds me of a memory, and every building carries an emotion. While designing the city, I made every corner and every building special by drawing from the images in my memory.

The city is built on a hill that meets the sea. The old stone buildings on the hill blend harmoniously with the blue of the sea. Ivy has wrapped around the stone buildings, reflecting the character of the period, while the leaves spilling over the walls symbolize the peace of the city. The cobblestone streets are steep and narrow, and with every step, you follow the traces of the past. The streets are connected like the paths where memories intertwine; an old square, once filled with laughter, now impresses with its silence.

At the heart of the city stands a library that has existed for many years. Its high and wide windows allow light to pour in beautifully. Inside, the air is filled with the scent of countless books. Behind the library lies a garden, where old statues, each bearing traces of a different era, retain their meaning despite being weathered by time.

Beyond the city, there is a pond. Sitting on the benches by the water feels like erasing the distance between you and the sea. When you look ahead, the reflection of a golden sunset on the pond illuminates the entire city.

In this city, time somehow slows down. As you walk through the streets, you feel the past—traces of an old childhood, echoes of a lost voice. Getting lost in this city is, in a way, finding yourself.
