My Life Long Perspective: Farm and Horses

İt was a shiny morning in my historical farm house which my family owned more than two centuries. I growed up in this farm and now my family living here. I sat up in this farms hugest bed and looked at my husband who is still sleeping next to me. Normally it was his turn to prepare breakfast today but ı could not sleep that why ı decided to go to my twins room. The home but especially the corridors was cool enough to shiver from the cold. Even if it is march. My twin girls were still sleeping happily that why my heart couldn’t be able to wake them up that why ı decided to prepare the breakfast by myself.

I opened the fridge but ı couldnt find any eggs that ı could make scrambled eggs and toast. My chicken and chick called Olivia and Jeffry ( my sister named them ) are ready to give eggs( ı hope ). I walked slowly to not afraid them and ı attacked to take eggs that was hot that means fresh and nice. I tooked them and went to kitchen. I was suprised to see my kids were awake because it was something that will happen once a year to see them awake in 9 am on sunday. I hugged and gave a morning kiss on their foreheads. My husband waked up too and we had an awesome breakfast. Then my mom and dad came us to take the kids to the playground and eat hamburger for lunch. I couldn’t go with them because ı had so much thing to do with Ted (my husband) in farm.

After cleaning all the house the barn, Pegasus, Kuki, Pijort and Karayel was waiting me to clean them. The grasses were green, the sun was up there with it’s whole shine and the flowers were colourful. I love spring more than other seasons. I decided to wash them on the grasses. I prepared all the needs and firstly ı started to wash Karayel.

4 Months later… Again I had finished washing Karayel, but at the same time, I was done from the heat. It was mid-July and I was just under the midday heat. I realized that my head was as hot as a stove and decided to leave this beautiful but suffocating air outside. The bugs weren’t that much last year as this year ı thought. Because of the unnusal heat all the animals that small or big doesn’t matters comes to the villages or the farms like we have to find water or food. But the flowers were at there with all their beauties and colourful leaves. This view would have been enough to endure all the tiredness, heat and insects ı thought.

3 Months later…The horses were clean and ready for me to feed them. I just took the apples and carrots basket when the kids school bus came. I walked briskly towards the children as I rustled the dried leaves. The sound of the leaves were enough to believe that we were really in october. The kids started to running towards me and hugged me strongly. I took them in my arms and walked trough to the beautiful but old, red and white farm house. I shocked to see my husband who was preparing roasted chicken and patatoes. I thought he was still in company and working. However, he came about an hour earlier and started to prepare food, thinking that I would be tired. I am a lucky women ı thought in my head and thanked him for helping me. Now it was the time for eating and sharing funny moments that we had today. But ı shaked from the cold after taking off my coat. That why Ted lit the fireplace to warm up us. We ate our dinner and decided not to wash dishes now. The kids screamed: “ Harry Potter Marathone” I was excited too after seeing them that much happy.

2 Months later…We took our blankets and popcorns for the film marathone night. Our christmas tree was at there with all its lights  and cute figures. The farm was all covered with soft, white snow. “Before starting the marathone,”ı said to my family,” ı would be grateful to announce you that tomorrow is the beginnin of December Winter Festival. And ı hope that ı will be free to go with you to that festival.” Everyone was so happy and excited. I was too. It was a tradition for our family to go that festival. And now, it was the time for feeling the christmas vibe with the lights of the barn, the sound of the horses, and the beautiful view of the white, snow covered mountains. İt was the time to feel happiness with the people who you trust most ı thought in my head.
