Spider-Man, the transition to the spider universe, this movie, whose entry date was June 2, 2023, reached huge numbers at the box office. This movie, with a budget of 100 million US dollars, earned 6 times its budget with 690.5 million at the box office, and both the quality of the film, the money it earned, and the voice-over and design are engraved in our minds. So how did the movie fare and how good was it despite making so much at the box office?
First of all, the movie begins with Gwen, our Spider-Woman, suffering from loneliness in her own parallel universe and longing for Miles Morales in another universe. Gwen, whose father is a police officer, is having an up-and-down relationship with her father. The main reason for this is that her father is trying to catch her in her other life, that is, Spider-Woman. The reason is that the two have different understandings of justice and what they do for justice. The issue is simple and fluid up to this point. Then, an art museum robbery occurs and Gwen goes to take part in the robbery with her Spider-Woman identity, but it turns out that the incident that is thought to be a robbery is actually caused by a bad man who accidentally came from another universe. While Gwen is trying to manage on her own, Spider-Man from another universe comes from a strange portal. This is our spider-man, our hero named Spiderman-2099 catches the bad guy from another universe with Gwen, and he joins her to the Spider-Man League that protects the universes. The subject is here, nice drawings, sounds and characters. It is also a very nice detail that the background takes on a color that expresses their feelings while they are experiencing an event. Our movie continues with such events and with one incident, our main character Miles Mores provokes the bad guy we call Spot with his weakness and Spot swears that he will strengthen himself and travels to other universes. He raids the laboratories that conduct black hole research in every universe and absorbs power, and eventually reaches his final form and becomes one of the most powerful villains. The story here becomes very interesting because our main character cannot predict what consequences his actions will have as he has just become Spider-Man, and the spotlight is the biggest part of this. For example, spot spider-men become the biggest threat to the union, that’s why miles morales gets into trouble and says that normally he wouldn’t be invited but wants to talk to him about this issue, our spider-man 2099 doesn’t have a good attitude towards miles morales and goes too hard on this. He says that his father will die and that he cannot prevent it, if he tries to prevent it, they will stop him. Miles, of course, chooses to save his father and runs away alone against all the spider-men and during the escape, he learns that the spider that gave him his powers is from another universe and should not have bitten him, and Miles says that Gwen knows this too and that she is afraid of him. When he finds out what he is hiding, he goes into a great shock and goes to the spider shelter to go to his own universe. There is a machine in the shelter that takes the person in the shelter to the universe where it should be with DNA matching. He enters this machine and immediately runs home to warn his father. When he comes home, he realizes that he came to the wrong universe and the spider that bit our character is actually Since he is not from his own universe, he takes him to the spider’s universe instead of his own universe, and in that universe, his father is dead and his uncle lives in his place, and Miles in that universe becomes the bad guy, and the movie ends here.
The movie is generally very fluid and the characters match the background and on top of that, we can have more than one emotion in a movie with the quality of the drawing, the way the plot is handled and the fact that each event triggers each other. I give the movie 10/9.
