Efecan and his friends were going camping. This was their third time, so this time they were prepared. They were confident that everything would go perfectly. When they arrived at the campsite, everyone put their belongings away and tasks were distributed. Efecan was given the task of collecting wood. As soon as Efecan started walking to collect wood, his mother called to check whether his phone was on or off. Then they chatted for a while when suddenly Efecan fell into a ditch. On top of that, his phone connection was lost, he was covered in dirt, he lost his sense of direction, and he was going to be scolded by his mother for his dirty clothes. Efecan thought there was still a phone connection and said, “Mom, I’m afraid I fell into a ditch and got lost!” he stammered in panic, but there was no answer. Efecan then thought about it and remembered what his father had told him. He would either find his way or build a shelter in a safe place. First, he took a piece from a bag he kept in his backpack and attached it to the tree next to the ditch, so that if he could not find his way, he could go back there and build a shelter. Then he started looking for the main camp route. He wandered for a long time and then came across blackberries growing there, which were known to be non-toxic. He stuffed as many blackberries as he could into his pocket and continued on his way. But he couldn’t find his way to the base camp and now it was getting dark. At least he went back to avoid losing the ditch. This time, it was easy for him to return because he walked straight ahead. Then he built a door over the ditch with long, thin sticks he found lying around and leaves he plucked from plants. But while he was building this door, the crickets had already started their melody. So he ate all the berries then covered the ditch with the lid he made and went to sleep. Then the moment he heard his tummy screaming for help he jumped straight out and started digging to make a hole to poop in. While he was taking the poop he heard the search parties from a distance and zipped his pants with some poop still inside (He was going to get scolded for that as well) to shout and find the search party. After a little bit they found him and he didn’t go camping for a few years.
Mom, I’m Scared!
