Is the Metaverse a threat that changes the perception of reality or is it itself?
I think the metaverse is just for fun and I don’t think it’s a threat that changes the perception of reality. In my opinion, the metaverse is not reality itself, but a version of it, so it’s like trying another reality in a fun way, and even when it develops more, people can go shopping, watching movies through virtual reality devices. They will be able to perform many activities such as training and education without any physical effort. For example, we will be able to see a museum in a distant country without going there. However, constantly spending time in digital environments can create a kind of addiction in individuals, which can increase physical laziness.
To me, the metaverse, if used in moderation, is a glimmer of reality.
